world skills 2022

WorldSkills Australia is a competition that promotes skills culture, celebrating excellence and showcasing vocational education and training. These skill-based competitions are made up of regional, national and international levels with simulated work challenges within their trade. These competitions are aligned to National Training Packages, Jobs Australia schemes and Apprenticeships Australia.

This year we had two ATQLD apprentices participate in this year's WorldSkills Australia regional competition at Bundaberg TAFE for the chance to compete at a national level next year, Bradley Peene who is currently working at Anglo American Dawson and Judd Spurling who is currently working at Batchfire Resources.

A tremendous effort from both the boys coming back with a gold medal from Bradley!
